About MeshPest

MeshPest tracks pest control traps across Mahurangi West using the existing infrastructure of MeshCore — a low-power LoRa mesh radio network — instead of relying on cellular signal, which is patchy out here. Each trap carries a small sensor that reports when it's triggered and how much battery it has left; that signal hops from trap to repeater to gateway until it reaches this map, usually within minutes.

This map is public so the community can see where traps are and how the network is performing.
